I am at least two-thirds human, female, and of rather small size.
I have experienced life for 25 revolutions of the earth to the sun, but my soul is ancient.
I am inspired by art of many types and forms, but what you will find here is mostly illustration of the golden age, mythological, alchemical and esoteric art.
I adore and revel in all aspects of nature. I spend much time out of doors, and I dream of living as closely with nature as possible, in a handmade shelter, growing my food, and sharing the warmth of the Sun.
I am in love with rocks and minerals. Crystal hunting and collecting is my most favorite of pastimes. Follow my other blog -MercurySulfurSalt- if you like rocks too!
I have a great passion for old and beautifully bound books, especially those superbly illustrated.
I very much enjoy supernatural and weird fiction and some of my favorite authors include H.P. Lovecraft, Algernon Blackwood, Edgar Allan Poe, and Lord Dunsany.
My favorite type of music is early music (ancient to baroque) and in particular the compositions of Alfonso X el Sabio (1200s). But most often I listen to different types of folk and instrumental music.
I enjoy balletic and acrobatic dance, and I can balance in handstand for more than a minute.
I am an herbivore for the most part, but on occasion I will enjoy some wild-caught fish.
I get paid to play with snakes and turtles and frogs all day.
